Freestanding Plywood Wardrobe

Freestanding Plywood Wardrobe – ‘Rufus’

The Wood & Wire freestanding plywood wardrobe lovingly known as ‘Rufus’ is part of our exclusively designed plywood furniture collection. The ‘Rufus’ plywood wardrobe design is a creation of Wood & Wire founder Jim Leach, following the ethos and aesthetics of modernism. This birch plywood wardrobe looks amazing in any bedroom whilst paying tribute to its mid-century influence.

We manufacture the ‘Rufus’ solid plywood wardrobe entirely from high-quality birch ply. It has two full-width drawers and sliding doors. Behind the sliding doors, there is a hanging rail and three shelves. This freestanding wardrobe is available in a selection of ultra hard-wearing coloured laminate for the drawer fronts and sliding doors. Our team of master craftsmen carefully manufacture every piece at our very own workshop which is right here in the heart of the Pennines, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, UK.
